Kevin Fitzhugh, a native Philadelphian, and Tammy Brown, a native Baltimorean, started their partnership in the spring of 2001. They are Champion Soulful Swing Fusion dancers, and instructors combining Hand Dance, West Coast Swing, Jitterbug and Fast Dance which has created a unique style of their own. They are currently the United States Open Swing Dance Champions of the Sophisticated Swing Division.
  ° Tammy is a US Open All Star Jack & Jill finalist.
  ° Kevin is a U S Open Advanced Strictly Swing Champion.
  ° They are the first African American Swing Dance couple to have achieved a US Open Swing Dance title in a solo division.
Their unique style, a mix of Jitterbug, Hand Dance and West Coast Swing, has awarded them titles both locally and nationally since 2001. They frequently place within the top five winners major dance competitions. Kevin and Tammy are two time Virginia State Open Hand Dance Showcase and Classic Division Champions. They have placed top three in many J&J and Strictly WCS and Hand Dance & Jitterbug divisions. They hold the 1st place champion title for the Michigan Classic Fast Dance division. Last year Tammy received a 2nd place top teacher award at Swing Fling and received a top teacher award at the U.S.N.D.C. in 2005.

loves to bring smiles to peoples' faces when she performs. She takes pride in her natural talent for dance and her appreciation for music. She is a professionally trained dancer, combining Modern, Jazz and African dance to create her unique swing persona.

Tammy is a graduate of Washington, DC's Smooth and E Z Hand Dance Institute (Baltimore Chapter). She's a former member of the New Baltimore Hand Dance Association. For the encouragement and extensive training she received from her good friend, Andrew Dove ( professional dance instructor at Baltimore City Community College) she extends a special thanks.

is a master barber, entrepreneur and proud father of his 13 year old swing dancing daughter, Deborah. He is a talented choreographer and spends long hours honing his craft.

Kevin has been teaching Hand Dance Dynamics in Maryland and the Washington, D.C. area at the K2 Dance studio for over 4 years. He is a graduate of the Smooth & EZ Hand Dance Institute of Washington, DC.
